"I have observed myself and many others become

healthier, happier, and hopeful adults"

The last three years of my life were spent in a haze of self- hatred, sabotage, and self- perpetuated confusion. I ceased to know who I was, who I wanted to be, and I certainly had ceased to care. I was a heroin addict and had accepted my fate with all the fervor of a person wanting to die.

On my 22nd birthday, my mother approached me with a suggestion. For that moment she seemed to look past the misery and shame that I couldn’t help but project… she spoke to me as though I was still the person I used to be. She spoke to me as only a mother could to her only daughter. She told me that she had found a rehabilitation center called Narconon. That her intuition had led her to believe that this was the only remaining place that could help me, and that she could have me on a plane by the end of the week.

I made the decision to leave my drug-addled life behind me and to conjure the strength to start anew. I entered the Narconon program on December 15th, 2006 and know, with certainty, that it was the best thing I could have done for myself and my family.
The Narconon program has helped me, immensely, to understand and confront the motivations that fuel us to live fragmented and unfulfilling lives. I have observed myself and many others become healthier, happier, and hopeful adults throughout the program and I attribute that to the remarkable things that are done within the Narconon experience. I feel very fortunate to have been able to witness these changes, and I finally feel that I can cultivate a life for myself that is fulfilling and enlightening unto others.
