"I learned to take responsibility for myself and for others."

I started smoking pot at the age of thirteen, soon after I started abusing alcohol. My lack of self-esteem and confidence lead me to experiment with other drugs, and before I knew it I was addicted to cocaine. I lived in denial for almost four years, and a life without drugs, to me, seemed inconceivable. Then I came to Narconon, which proved to be the best decision I ever made.

A Narconon staff person met me at the airport and he was really friendly, he was really helpful and answered all of my questions. When I got to the facility people were equally as friendly as I felt as if I was in a safe and comfortable environment where I could heal.

I had the best time while in the sauna program. It was during this time where I got my health and my looks back. I got all of the drugs and harmful toxins out of body and I felt better then I imagined I could feel.
I was never much of a student, barely passing high school with C and D marks. During book 3 (The Learning Improvement Course), I learned a truly effective way of studying. I used this new skill to get through the rest of the program and I plan to use it throughout my life.

The rest of the program was great! I learned to take responsibility for myself and for others. I reestablished my personal ethics and learned how to improve my condition in life. The time I spent at Narconon was one of the only times in my life that I consider to be well spent. Completing this program was one of my biggest accomplishments, but because of it, I know that I am going to accomplish much, much more.
